Dr. Elizabeth Hesse Sheehan, DC
Chiropractic-Functional Nutrition-Wholistic Healing
My Story
A healer, a guide, and someone who has lived this journey firsthand.

"I didn't become a chiropractor because everything made sense." I became a chiropractor because my life fell apart when I was sixteen.
A car accident left me with severe spinal and jaw injuries, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, and a body that felt like it was shutting down. For six years, I moved from appointment to appointment and medication to medication. I was told I was “fine,” or it was “in my head,” or to take another pill—or that I’d never get better.
Nothing helped.
Nothing saw me.
Nothing restored my hope.
What finally changed everything was a chiropractor who truly listened. With structural support, intuitive methods, and the right nutritional guidance, my body began to heal.
And I knew:
“This is the doctor I needed. This is the doctor I want to be.”
That intention still guides everything I do.

My Health Journey
Healing is rarely linear.
My adult life has included seasons of:
-
severe hyperemesis gravidarum
-
a major physical injury from a fall
-
periods of burnout, overwhelm, and nervous system collapse
These experiences taught me the connection between physiology, mind, energy, emotion, and spirit. And why nervous system regulation is foundational.
My Son & my work with down syndrome
My work with special needs families began more than a decade before my son was born, but having a child with Down Syndrome deepened both my commitment and my focus.
It didn't create my mission, but it expanded it.
Today I support families navigating Down Syndrome with:
-
integrative guidance
-
genetic insight
-
functional and nutritional support
-
energetic and nervous system-oriented methods
-
deep respect for the unique physiology of DS
This part of my work, is both an honor and a calling.

THE HEART OF WHAT I DO

At my core, I am:
-
a pattern seeker
-
a translator of complex science into human language
-
someone who sees the whole picture
-
someone who listens deeply
-
someone who bridges structure and intuition
-
a guide between the physical and the energetic
My approach blends grounded clinical knowledge with intuitive awareness, honoring the intelligence of the nervous system and the body.
I believe healing is both science and soul.
Both structure and flow.
Both physiology and energy.
And I'm here to help you reconnect with all of it.
A little more about me:)
Outside the clinic, I am:
-
a Pacific Northwest woman through and through
-
an artist (jewelry, acrylic pours and energetic remedies)
-
a volunteer and program manager for the Woodinville Little League Challenger Division
-
a mom of two
-
a wife
-
a reader, shopper, laughter-lover, and meme enthusiast
-
a cat mom to two extremely opinionated felines
I love beauty, creativity, and meaning-and they show up in everything I do!

My Mission is simple:
To offer the kind of whole-person care I desperately needed but could not find - care that listens, supports the nervous system, honors the emotional landscape, and helps each person reconnect with their innate capacity for resilience and vitality.
This is the heart of Experience Health.
